Gravity Assist Trajectory Optimization

I want to carry out a launch/arrival space analysis for trajectories to the outer planets using Jupiter as a gravity assist body. Assuming only a launch delta-V (i.e. no TCMs), I want to have each run minimize the Earth launch Delta-V assuming an Earth launch date, minimum Jupiter flyby radii and arrival date at the target planet. GMAT would generate the optimum trajectory giving me the Jupiter flyby date and conditions.

Will GMAT do this? Is there a tutorial that will get me started?

Gravity is known as the force that is important on many planets. Thus this is said that is going to show some of the main effects that are useful to us.
